Impeding MCF Through STCs

This award will help government and private sector take effective measures to prevent the flow of advanced technologies to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) that would enable it to advance its military, technological, and economic dominance goals.

Award activities shall include engaging and strengthening


the abilities of authorities from key economies in the supply chain for a wide variety of critical technologies to use STCs and related measures to prevent the CCP and its affiliates’ acquisition of weaponizable and dual-use technologies.

Activities shall also engage private sector and other relevant entities developing or producing artificial intelligence models, advanced semiconductors, quantum information science and technology, and related technologies to strengthen their abilities to identify and mitigate the risk of acquisition of their technology by actors affiliated with the CCP.
